Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9th, 1976 in Beaumont Puy De Domme. She was encouraged by her parents, dentist and a teacher, who both were instructors in her pursuit of her passion in the theatre. This was in contrast the earlier dream to pursue a career as a primatologist since she was a fan of monkeys. The early success of her career and the rapid gain in acclaim led her to become a young actor. In 1998, following the completion of her education, she was able to participate in Jeunes Premiers which is which is a French TV talent-scouting show that is run by Canal+. She also received the award for Best Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. It was this that led her to start her acting career professionally. Although she studied at in the Institut Catholique de Paris and attended church in her youth Tautou has distanced herself from the Catholic tradition, saying that she is not officially Catholic. Along with her acting career and modeling career, she has pursued a modeling career. It is her turn to be the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. Additionally, she is a keen passion for photography. She recently presented an exhibit of her work at the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on celebrities and their fame. She also is focused on the journalists who scrutinised her in the wake of her rapid success in the film Amelie in addition to self-portraits. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and recognition with her movie role in Le Fabuleux d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was an international box-office success, and received accolades at awards galas around the globe. It remains the highest grossing French language film in the US. After this huge success, Tautou was later cast in a variety of films, such as British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de fiancailles. In addition, she was a part of Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
